LAKE-SIDE CABIN HOUSING
(Dorm-Style-Up to 4 Students per Unit)

Our student housing cabin is situated in our lake-side forest. You will be surrounded by the beautiful sounds and delicate scents of nature making this an ideal place to study massage therapy and the healing arts and sciences.

There is a paved walkway that connects the cabin to the parking area and our Retreat Center, which leads to our Massage School, which is only a 5 minute walk.

Our cabin consists of 2 fully furnished 1-bedroom suites. Each suite include 2 twin-sized bunk beds, full bath, living room with TV and cable, local telephone service and kitchenette, with sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and small refrigerator. Wi-Fi is available at our Retreat Center, and available during designated hours.

We require that our students respect the tranquility of our mountain oasis and that they maintain an atmosphere of peacefulness and quiet. This is not a place for loud music, parties or social encounters. There are plenty of places in Asheville to enjoy such activities. We have many guests who come to stay with us specifically to enjoy our natural, serene setting.

Student Housing Fee: $3900 for 6 Months.

Lake-side cabin accommodations are not available for weekly or monthly rentals. Space is limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees and terms subject to change without notice.

Student Housing Application

Community Involvement: All boarders are required to participate in community work projects up to 6 hours each week (24 hours/month). This may include participating in Open House and other events, gardening, cooking, cleaning, maintenance, laundry, reception, night-call and clinic scheduling.

Contract: Student Housing Agreement and $200 damage deposit required.

*Check-In: 3PM the day before classes start. Check-out: 11AM the day after graduation. Student Housing Applications are required. Students will be matched with same sex. We cannot match age, personality or other traits. Student housing is based on availability, and all terms, benefits and fees subject to change without notice.

Meal Service: CFMNH does not provide meal services at this time. Our Student Housing Cabin has a small kitchenette where simple meals can be prepared or heated. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and several of them deliver.

Laundry facilities: CFMNH does not provide laundry facilities. Boarders are provided one set of sheets and towels, and are responsible for regular laundering of their linens at a local Landromat.

Housekeeping services: Boarders are responsible for keeping their space clean and neat at all times. We do not include housekeeping services for our boarders.

Guests: Day passes are available for student’s guests and cost $15/day (8am-5pm). Guests are not permitted in the Student Housing Cabin at any time, but may enjoy the grounds and general area of the Retreat Center during designated hours. Guests may also choose to purchase overnight accommodations at our current room rates.

Not Permitted: Pets, smoking, alcohol, drugs, hunting or fishing or open flames of any kind.

Transportation: You will need reliable transportation while you are in school for grocery shopping, laundrying and your clinical practice at our Downtown Therapy Center.

TERMS: Other terms apply and are contained in the Student Housing Agreement which will be provided upon receipt of your Student Housing Application below.
