Event Hosting & Rentals

The Essence Center makes their facilities available for group rentals. These gorgeous facilities are ideal for workshops and seminars of all kinds, including educational workshops, movement workshops, creative arts workshops, lectures, seminars and more!

Daytime Rentals:

Weekdays (Monday through Thursday), 9AM-5PM: $300/Day
Weekends (Friday through Sunday), 8AM-5PM: $500/Day (minimum 2 days)

Extended Evening Hours:
Weekdays (Monday through Thursday), 6PM-10PM: $150 additional
Weekends (Friday through Sunday), 6PM-10PM: $250 additional (minimum 2 days)

You will need to supply all other equipment and supplies needed for your event.

Food & Beverage Services:

Our gourmet chefs will prepare meals for your group. You may choose the following cuisine type: gourmet with red meat, chicken or seafood (select one), all, vegetarian or all vegan. We do not permit food service to be provided by groups or outside caterers. We cannot provide special meals for individuals with special food preferences or needs. But all our cuisine is prepared beautifully, using fresh ingredients, very low fat, low or no dairy and only natural sweeteners (no refined sugar). Full organic cuisine is available for an additional 30%.

Iced Water Service: $1 per person per day
Coffee & Tea Service: $3 per person per day
Continental-Styled Breakfast: $10 per person (minimum 6 people)
Gourmet Lunch Service: $25 per person (minimum 6 people)
Gourmet Dinner Service: $25 per person (minimum 6 people)

Groups of 12-18 are plated meals.
Groups larger than 18 are buffet style

Lunch and Dinner services consist of a salad, main course and desert that is chef's choice. We are often told that the cuisine served at The Essence Center is the best they have ever had. We have found nothing comparable, anywhere!

Accommodations:

Accommodations are based on availability at our standard rates.

Includes Morning Yoga, Pilates or Tai Chi classes from 7-8AM

Includes Continental Breakfast (homemade muffins and granola, fresh hard-cooked eggs, fresh fruit, juice, coffee & tea from 8-9AM

Full Facility Rental

Full, discounted rental of our Retreat Center is available for all-inclusive retreat weekends or weeks when reserved far enough in advance. This rental includes use of our facility, including all guest rooms in the Retreat Center (14 double rooms and a 3-room suite), the loft, great room, sauna, decks and grounds. This rental option is ideal for groups of up 30 people (double occupancy), with a maximum of up to 60 people (quadruple occupancy with shared beds).

Rates: $3000 per day, with a minimum of 2 days plus $60 per person per day for food and beverage service (see below). We do not permit food service to be provided by groups or outside caterers.

The Full Facility Rental rate does not include morning yoga classes, but we will be happy to arrange them for you for $15 per person, per day.

Food & Beverage Services

Available for groups of 6 or more: $60/person/night.

Our cuisine is carefully prepared using the freshest ingredients. We use very little sugar or fat, and provide a healthy balance of protein, vegetables and wholesome grains.

Includes the following meals:

Breakfast: Continental Styled Breakfast of homemade granola, homemade muffins, milk, soy milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, fresh hard-cooked eggs, juice, coffee and tea.

Lunch: Chef's choice. Sample: Hearty Soup, gourmet sandwiches and a homemade cookies or gourmet salad, homemade quiche and homemade brownies

Dinner: Chef's choice. Gourmet Salad, Gourmet Entree and Homemade Desert.

Groups can select one style of cuisine: Western (meat and dairy products), Vegetarian (no meat products) or Vegan (no animal products whatsoever).

Coffee & Tea Service is provided throughout the day.

NOTE: Per person fee is based on number of guests attending all or part of your event, whether or not they are staying overnight. If anyone from your group misses a meal, or chooses not to eat any meal, or attends only part of your event, no credit will be issued for those meals. This includes late arrivals, early departures or any other partial participants.

For groups that wish to enhance their agenda and experience at The Essence Center, we make the following services and options available:

Meal service begins with Dinner at 6PM the day of check in, and ends with lunch served at NOON the day of check out.

Daily Rental Hours: As per your rental agreement.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS: Rental agreement will be provided and required to secure your dates, along with a 50% deposit for rental space and food and beverage service. Food and beverage deposit is based on our required minimum of 12 people. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions will be made.

An additional 25% of the total is due 14 days prior to the start of your rental. We require a current guest and rooming list at this time to determine this payment. Failure to make this deposit will void your rental agreement, and you will loose your reservation and deposit.

A final guest and rooming list is due 3 days prior to the start of your rental date. You may add onto these numbers if you have a few last-minute sign-ups when you check-in, but you cannot subtract from it.

Your balance will be calculated based on your final check-in numbers and is due upon check in. You will be charged full rates for anyone who arrives late, or leaves early. We will not provide partial credits for individuals who do not participate in your entire reserved rental.

CLEANING/DAMAGE DEPOSIT: An additional cleaning/damage deposit of $500 is due upon arrival, and will be returned within 7 days after your event, provided the space is left clean and undamaged.
