Letter from Peggy

Dear Friends,

I write this letter to acknowledge and thank each and every one of you who have lovingly contributed to this amazing journey I am on.

I remember with great fondness, my very first massage clients, and working on them in the corner of Lighten Up’s yoga studio when I first arrived here in Asheville. That old draw curtain is still there! Thank you, Lillah Schwartz, for hanging it there for me.

I had so much fun downtown, as I hand-made and delivered flyers to the vendors and shop owners who have since become my dear friends. I found some of my guardian angels there. I especially wish to thank Ted Prosser for his kindness, guidance and wisdom, and always providing me with a safe home for my creation. He has been an important part of my journey sense it began here and will always remain dear to my heart.

Then there are those 12 amazing women who trusted me enough to enroll in my first Massage Therapy Certification Program. Without their involvement, my journey may have been entirely different. What a great adventure that was! And what an accomplishment, for all of us! Thank you.

And then there are the incredible staff members who continue to appear, as if by magic, and continue to bless me with their talents, wisdom and knowledge. Without each and every one of them, none of this would be possible. An extra special acknowledgement goes to Jena Chambers, who has taken my creation and refined it in so many ways. I don’t know what I’d do without her in my life, professionally and personally.

And last, my family, who have never had anything but faith in my visions and my pursuits. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. And Granny, thank you for always telling me I’d do something special one day. I believed you.

To every client, student, teacher, staff member and loving friend, know that it is your brilliantly colored thread that continues to create this incredible tapestry. May our paths continue to cross on our mutual journeys.

With Love & Gratitude,
Peggy
